Hello everyone...Well this is my first posting since june...i had started callege back in june 07 and by august 08 had receved my Associates in Criminal Justice...go me...since the last time i wrote anything i moved to jax...lost my job...i didnt get to go to dragon con...i had to move back to my moms..and finally found a new job... Im working now at Express Scripts..which to best describe it is and inbound pharmacey call center..I just got out of my 8 weeks training course and have officially started my schedule...

Im looking forward to Megaplex this year...its unfortunate that its gonna be in orlando again and not in jax...but im looking forward to attending...

Astronomers find batch of "super-Earths"

European researchers said on Monday they discovered a batch of three "super-Earths" orbiting a nearby star, and two other solar systems with small planets as well.

They said their findings, presented at a conference in France, suggest that Earth-like planets may be very common.

"Does every single star harbor planets and, if yes, how many?" asked Michel Mayor of Switzerland's Geneva Observatory. "We may not yet know the answer but we are making huge progress towards it," Mayor said in a statement.

The trio of planets orbit a star slightly less massive than our Sun, 42 light-years away towards the southern Doradus and Pictor constellations. A light-year is the distance light can travel in one year at a speed of 186,000 miles a second, or about 6 trillion miles.

The planets are bigger than Earth -- one is 4.2 times the mass, one is 6.7 times and the third is 9.4 times.

They orbit their star at extremely rapid speeds -- one whizzing around in just four days, compared with Earth's 365 days, one taking 10 days and the slowest taking 20 days.

Mayor and colleagues used the High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher or HARPS, a telescope at La Silla observatory in Chile, to find the planets.

More than 270 so-called exoplanets have been found. Most are giants, resembling Jupiter or Saturn. Smaller planets closer to the size of Earth are far more difficult to spot.

None can be imaged directly at such distances but can be spotted indirectly using radio waves or, in the case of HARPS, spectrographic measurements. As a planet orbits, it makes the star wobble very slightly and this can be measured.

"With the advent of much more precise instruments such as the HARPS spectrograph ... we can now discover smaller planets, with masses between 2 and 10 times the Earth's mass," said Stephane Udry, who also worked on the study.

The team also said they found a planet 7.5 times the mass of Earth orbiting the star HD 181433 in 9.5 days. This star also has a Jupiter-like planet that orbits every three years.

Another solar system has a planet 22 times the mass of Earth, orbiting every four days, and a Saturn-like planet with a 3-year period.

"Clearly these planets are only the tip of the iceberg," said Mayor.

"The analysis of all the stars studied with HARPS shows that about one third of all solar-like stars have either super-Earth or Neptune-like planets with orbital periods shorter than 50 days."

In the world of cell phones..... you can't find a pay phone when you need it. I went to the mall today no payphone, none by the movie theater, none in target, none at one gas station so i had to drive to a gas station where i knew one was.

oh another thing that happened today I decided to get my nipples repierced today, but they put in straight bars instead of the hoops like i had before, i was thinkin about it man it was 3 years ago that i first got that done.

oh and i am three classes away from my associates degree yayayay. just have to get through criminal law, security management, and juvenile justice. if i pass these three graduation is June 28th.

update on Dakota, parents saw swelled up spot on his side and took him to the vet to check it out, might have been cancer, plus his heart was swelled up 3x's its normal size and he had heart disease, so they decided to end his suffering.

I got home last night and there was a note on the door saying momma and daddy had to put our german shepard dakota to sleep last night. He must have taken a turn for the worst, he has been having dry skin and bad itchies, he is getting old but still in ok shape. He was doing well when i left for work at three.

Well, if there are, chances are they're driving a green car.

People who own emerald green automobiles, it turns out, have the most positive attitude about the course of their own lives.

Dark blue and silver are other colors chosen by upbeat people.

Red supposedly connotes an aggressive, high-speed personality, while yellow, theoretically, is for folks with sunny dispositions.

But survey data show that people who drive red or yellow cars have below-average confidence. And black cars, supposedly a sign of power and elegance, are driven by the most downbeat drivers of all.

The automotive color-coding comes from CNW Marketing Research in Bandon, Ore., which asked nearly 1,900 Americans about their attitudes toward their own lives at several points over the course of a year.

CNW also asked each respondent the color of the car they drive most often, which allowed the researchers to develop a kind of color-confidence index.

Since the folks at CNW got a range of answers for each respondent over time, they were also able to calculate the "moodiness" of drivers—how widely their confidence varied from one extreme to the other, in the course of a year.

Sedate colors, not surprisingly, correlate with consistent moods. But if a primary color suddenly fills your rear-view mirror—well, it's probably best to get out of the way:

There are better clinical indicators of mental health, needless to say, but Art Spinella of CNW says car color can be a useful "people-matching" tool.

"Your accountant should drive something silver," he advises.

And odds are pretty good that he does: Silver, white, and black—more stable hues—are the most common car colors, according to DuPont, which publishes an annual color popularity report.

More moody colors account for about 17 percent of cars.

Windows XP Activation

Q: Gave my son my machine and bought a different machine. I want to install Windows XP onto it. Anyway of getting around the activation? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

A: *sigh*. I thought everyone knew about the magic cabbage. Never mind, here goes.

It appears that the engineers built in a keyboard escape sequence that can be used to bypass the activation requestor. As long as you’re not a complete dope, you can probably do it.

You have to do this three times, rebooting the box each time as soon as the activation requestor appears:

Hold down CTRL and ALT Press the M-E-T-U-R-N-I-P keys in order Shutdown & Reboot

The third time the machine boots, you will be greeted with a list of vegetables. If you don’t see the list of vegetables, then you’ve made a mistake. Power off the machine and try again.

Click on the talking _cabbage_ icon. You’ll see lots of other talking vegetable icons BUT DON’T CLICK ON ANY OF THEM, especially the MUSHROOM!! (*sheesh*, I won’t try _that_ one again!)

Click the cabbage and a popup shows with a picture of an animated cabbage. It says “Hi, I’m the magic cabbage! I can make lots of things out of cabbage.

What would you like me to make today?” It actually talks to you in this silly voice and if you sit and watch, the vegetables in the background pick up musical instruments and start playing them! It’s completely nuts! The piano playing mushrooms are good though.

Anyway. Click on “Make me some soup.” Don’t click anything else, especially the “Make me a mashed xxx” options.

The cabbage will say, “Okay, what kind of soup?” in a stupid squeaky voice.

Now here’s the tricky bit. Click on the “Make me a soup out of the following ingredients” You must now select the vegetables in the correct order to make your soup (actually an activation key):

A bowl will appear into which you must drag a number of vegetables.

Ignore the cabbage whilst you do this (it dances around the screen urging you to pick tomatos and turnips. It says stupid stuff like “Wouldn’t you like a leek with that?” Or “A potato would go well with those ingredients,
wouldn’t it?” Just IGNORE IT!!”)

Drag the following vegetables into the bowl:
2 tomatos
1 Parsely
5 green beans

Then click the magic cabbage. The screen will go black and then the magic cabbage will fade into view with a little chef’s hat on and it will say “Would monsieur like anything to go with ‘eez soup?” in a stoopid french
accent and it will *wink* at you. Click “Oui” and select “Une Activation Key Pour Moi!”

The screen will go black *again*. And the magic cabbage will fade into view this time wearing a Zorro mask and it says. “Eh Amigo, if joo believe in thee majeek cabbage, then joo is loco. Thee majeek cabbage ees jus a meeth.” in a stupid mexican accent. Don’t worry about it, just click on the cabbage’s mask and the activation instructions will be displayed.

Oh BTW let us know if you see the magic turnip. Someone says they found it one day and it offered to burn a CDROM for them.

I'm sorry for what adam said to you. know matter how much i would like both of us to be unmarried, that is not the way to go about getting the job done. it's really hard for him to find the money to go see you to get the paper work done. so if you wouldn't mind being nice about all this plz help him outby getting the paper work and yes i am his new girlfriend. i'm his bosses wife, so i know what you are going through and how you feel about him not wanting to be with you. it hurts really bad. well i'm sorry if i upset u in anyway. i don't mean to.

see the thing is i planned to pay for him to come see me,
and i know i havent talked to him in like a month but he wasnt seeing anyone then, i didnt expect him to start seeing anyone in few weeks we havent talked. you were a surpise, as for papers, there just gonna have to wait till i can afford them. I was gonna use my tax rebate to fly him down here. From what i see its gonna be about 300 if i file myself without a lawyer, and uncontested. so if he gets a rebate and can afford to send me some to help pay for it then great ill get it done early but if not im using the money to get into a place closer to work so im not killing myself trying to get to work everyday. and have to sleep in the car because i dont have the gas money to drive the 45 miles to work so have to sleep at work in my vehicle. I'll send this message to him to so both can read that i didnt say anything hatred.

lol i yelled at him yesturday for yelling at you when you were being nice. so i would have told him you were talking to me in a nice way.
the funny thing is there was a girl right b4 me he was thinking about being with but she turned out to be a bitch. i could have told him that but i didn't really hang out with him that much then.
He just called me from work and I told him what you said and he said he will pay half if that is what you want.
I'm sorry to hear that you have to sleep in your car, i kind of always had everything handed to me so i really don't know how that would feel. Know i just have to worry about keeping the house my parents gave me. i have to walk to work almost every day. i thought that was far, i cann't see sleeping in a car, unless i was driving really fare away on vacation or something,and i never really have to worry about gas cuz i don't drive.

well i know that they "broke up" on valentines day,cause i called and he was drunk as a skunk that night. course he was seeing someone that was seeing someone else. so that never works out especially when you want to get serious.

as for me seeing adam in may, the whole point was as im gettin older and lonlier in life, no kids myself, im currenly living at my moms. was engaged last year and had planed a long engagement while filing for divorce but it didnt work out well and we broke it off. i wanted adam and i to get together to see if there really was anything left for us because we have been seperated for over 4 years and i know i have changed so much. he has told me over the years that he has been celibate and wanting to get back together but how was i supposed to belive that?

but we were gonna get together for a week and see if there was really anything left to salvage and try again. but i suppose now therre is no point. i will add you to my friends list so we can chat on occasion, and i hope you do well with him. i have noticed the last few times ive talked to him he has developed an attitude towards me on the phone (which i hate to say it but he reminds me of his mother). I still talk to his step mom alot though.

ya that was beth, i didn't think you knew about her. she is still a ho and now she is all upset cuz before she had a chance to get back with him i snaged him up.

I kind of knew that you want to get back with him. I know how you feel. i'm 25 years old with no kids and most of my family is in Florida. As fare as you guys getting back together i've talk to him about it, and it doesn't sound like he wants to. the reason i talk to him about you is cuz if he didn't love you at some point he wouldn't have tattooed your name on his chest. ya now what i mean.

Your right he does sound like his mom when he gets pissy. i've never met her but i hurd all about her. i would never tell him he sounds like her tho.

ya he got that tattoo while he was in japan, i got one on my calf that is an ega that says marine wife, worlds toughest job, and on my ring finger the day we got married, also have damians name in chinese on my arm. i know there have been many times where he wanted me back but i wasnt ready, now that im ready to see if there is anything left to work he has finally moved on, but i realized when i asked him a few months ago that i was being selfish, but he said it was ok, he wouldnt get serious with anyone until we spent our week together, and i promised the same.

but like i said if ya'll are gonna try then go ahead, im sure he wouldnt like the new me anyways. he was my first love and i havent found that again, even with my ex fiance, h was younger and not ready for what i wanted.

So now im in the process of trying to find do it yourself divorce papers that can be done reasonably cheap. my mom said something about she'll help me and within 31 days after papers filed divorce will be complete. so i suppose thats whats going on in my life now.
